James Andrew John Bibby

Jim was born in Chilliwack, BC, and spent most of his childhood in Vernon, BC with his siblings (Paul, Michael, Anne-Marie, Bob, Brian, and John). His parents (Hubert and Bernice) discovered his talent for music early and helped him explore many instruments, including what he is probably best remembered for, the ivory keys. Jim's passion for music took him and his Hammond B3 organ across North America where this quiet man wowed crowds with his deft fingers. In 1974, he returned to Vernon where he met Pat while delivering flowers. They were married in 1976.

Jim spent his working life managing the Canadian Tire warehouse in Vernon. He is fondly remembered as a kind and effective manager where he supported and mentored many.

In their retirement together, Jim and Pat made many wonderful memories traveling BC and boating on Kalamalka and Mabel Lake with their favourite people - their kids and grandkids.

Jim is remembered by many for his dry sense of humour, mastery of joke telling, his music, and his love for his family.

He will be deeply missed.
