We regret to announce the death at Kelowna General Hospital on March 29, 2014, of Helen (“Faye”) Lawless, (nee Denysyk), at the age of 81 years.
Faye was born in Saskatchewan and was a resident of Vernon since 1989. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 49 years, Michael. She is also survived by brothers, Edward and Nick; sisters Mary, Olga, Marge and Darlene; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Friends wishing to pay their last respects to Faye may do so in the chapel of Vernon Funeral Home on Friday, April 4, between 3 and 5 p..m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James’ Roman Catholic Church in Vernon on Saturday, April 5, at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Father Dale Normandeau, celebrant. Cremation will follow.
