passing of Ellen Lillian Taggart. She passed
away peacefully at Creekside Landing on Friday,
November 7th, 2014 at the age of 91.
Ellen will be lovingly remembered by her children
Fran (Bob) McKinnon, Charlene Lamming, Linda
(Leonard) McCarty, Terry (Joan) Taggart, Carol
(Ray) Williment. 9 grandchildren & their spouses,
13 great-grandchildren, sister in-law Verna Porrier,
numerous nieces and nephews and extended
family. Ellen was predeceased by her husband
Doug, son-in-law Norman Lamming, grandson
Clayton Lamming, father George, mother Lily, 5
sisters, 2 brothers.
Ellen was a life time member of the Royal Purple
Lodge #112.
Mom cherished her family and enjoyed having
everyone together. She was the first one working
preparing for us all and the last one at the table
laughing and visiting everyone.
There will a private service held in McBride, B.C.
for family and close friends in the Spring. Where
she will be laid to rest with her husband Doug.
In lieu of flowers those friends wishing to make
memorial contributions in memory of Ellen may
do so to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or BC
Lung Association.
