John Drew Patterson

Drew will be joining his adored childhood sweetheart and late wife Cynthia Patterson (nee Sparrow) in the next cosmic realm. Together they will guide and watch over their cherished daughter Chelsea Patterson.

Drew was a passionate photographer, chef, loving friend and, to his own fault, had a heart too big for the world to handle.

His family; Darryl and Donna Patterson (nee Picoulas) (brother and sister-in-law), Pamela Patterson (sister), his nieces and nephews: Sean Brown, Alanna Patterson, Samantha Brown, Victoria, Teresa, Jaclyn Patterson, and Mackenzie Brown, along with Dorothy and Andrea Magee and his daughter Chelsea Patterson, have decided to have a celebration of his life later in the summer. They would be honoured to have all those that loved or were loved by Drew to attend.

In honour of Drew’s kind, open heart and in lieu of flowers, please do an act of random kindness to those most vulnerable. As he once did for a feral pregnant cat who, despite her aggressive attitude, Drew eventually convinced to trust and love him. Nothing done with love will ever be wasted, and Drew certainly did everything with love. He will be missed but not forgotten.
