John Ghenov Jr.

John was born in Seattle, WA on September 27, 1964. The family moved to California in 1969 where he grew up in San Jose. He moved to Ventura in 2000 where he spent most of his time before he went to be with The Lord on June 8, 2014 at the age of 49 after his long battle with alcohol and hepatitis C.

His life will be remembered by his zest for life, his good humor, precision machining, excellent athletic ability, unstoppable conversation, and never say die attitude.

He leaves behind his father John, mother Vera, son Nick, brothers Marc, Robert and Theo.

Funeral services will be held at Charles Carroll Funeral Home, 15 Teloma Drive, Ventura, CA at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 20th. He will be placed to rest at Ivy Lawn Memorial Cemetery at 5400 Valentine Rd, Ventura, CA at 3:00 pm following the service. A reception will be held at Ventura Baptist Church, 5415 Ralston St, Ventura, CA 93003.
