James E Keatley

The celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 am at Saving Grace Bible Church located at 2550 Englewood Rd Englewood, FL 34223 on Friday April 28th, 2023. Following the service there will be an inurnment at Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Englewood, FL.

James was born November 25, 1959, in Laramie, Wyoming to the late Earl and Marie Keatley. He was one of five children. James attended Coventry High School in Akron, Ohio where he met his wife, Michele.

James was married to Michele Robeson Keatley on April 11, 1981, and had their daughter Angela. They had been married for forty-one years. James moved to Venice Florida with Michele's family in 1979. James was a delivery truck driver, until his accident in 1998.

He loved spending his time listening to music, taking care of animals, and spending time with family. In recent years, his favorite animals were hermit crabs and bunnies. James loved to tell stories about his work and most of all he loved to tell jokes and have fun in life.

James Edward Keatley leaves in loving memory his wife Michele Keatley, his daughter Angela Chelnokov, and two grandsons Lucas and Logan Chelnokov. He is survived by his two brothers Earl Jr. and Robert, and two sisters Donna and Lora.
