Lillian I. Powell, 97, of Portland passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Zion Adult Foster Home. She was born July 27, 1916 in Pioneer, Texas to Alvin and Nettie Shipp.
Lillian is survived by her children, Mary (Ruben) Carter, Dona (Bob) Cooper and Bob Powell; grandchildren, Steve Carter, Kim Cooper, Dianna Lawrence, Rebecca Kilbreath and Joshua Powell; sister, Louise Hagood; step-brother, Wayne Shipp; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Powell in 2005.
A memorial service for Lillian will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 16th at Vancouver Church of Christ. Interment took place October 19th at Northwood Park in Ridgefield.
