Vilma passed away peacefully with family by her side.
Predeceased by her parents, Alesio and Laura Ciancone, sister, Gloria Ciancone-Ghini and her loving husband, Mitar (Mike) Vujic.
Lovingly remembered by her son, Alex P. Guidi, daughter, Paula Guidi-Brown (Gene); daughter-in-law, Margaret and grandchildren Blake, Ashley (Wade), Tyler, Jesse, Chandi and great grandchildren, Lincoln and Makena. Brother, Mario (Berbie); nephews, Gerry, Mark (Dorothy), Bart and niece, Cydnee (Brad).
Vilma was born and raised in Kelowna by her parents who immigrated from Italy. She was an open-minded, kind natured person and a gifted artist who saw beauty in the world around her.
Never one to sit still, she loved adventure but also the simplest things in life. Vilma deeply loved her family and friends. She shared many precious moments reading to them, collecting coins, attending sporting events, cutting their hair, creating artwork and much laughter.
Vilma had a talent for hair styling and owned her own hair salon. She was highly creative by nature and encouraged entrepreneurship, she was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren’s achievements.
Someone so special can never be forgotten and although we will miss her dearly, we take comfort in knowing she is now in a better place.
We will be having a short outdoor memorial service held at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery (1991 Bernard Ave, Kelowna, BC) at 11am on June 5, 2021, please join if you wish to.
