I will always remember Sandy with the fondest of memories here at the CBC.

I wish to pay my condolences to all of Sandra's family.  She was a truly unique and beautiful soul and it was my privilege to have met, and worked with this wonderful lady.  If I have any regrets, it is that I did not know her better.  Sandy was a a warm, honest, and caring person, who had an infectious laugh, and who treated everyone with care and respect.  Heaven is a better place for opening it's gates and letting Sandra pass through.

SANDY was a helluva fine person - they don't come any better...It was a pleasure to have been associated with her at CBC Vancouver...!

My deepest sympathies are with the family whom Sandy left behind.
I will forever be thankful to Sandy for her wise support as the head scheduler at CBC Vancouver. Sandy was a good friend and problem solver with an intelligent attitude of caring, fairness and toughness, when needed. Sandy, you left us too soon.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

We will always remember Sandy for her wonderful sense of humour, her patience and her infinite calm and steadiness as she scheduled the duties of dozens of technicians and did her best to keep everybody happy.   Like all true professionals, she made a very difficult job look easy.   She will be missed.

I met Sandy more than 30 years ago ... we became friends very quickly and soon felt like family even though our paths diverged now and then.  Sandy always had a big heart - especially where her kids were concerned but also for waifs and wanderers she opened up her home to. I loved her sense of humour. I cherish our history , and I miss her.

My condolences to Sandy's family.  I worked with Sandy at the CBC until her retirement (she didn't want to leave!) The thing I remember most was Sandy's pride in her children, of whom she often spoke.  Rest in peace Sandy.

I was sorry to hear of the passing of Sandy.  I met Sandy while working at CBC Vancouver.  She always had a kind word and a smile for me.  I will always remember the time she came to the hospital after I had a procedure and drove me home and tucked me in, before heading back to work.
We also had fun times talking about Iceland and the Icelandic Centre in Vancouver.
It's with fond memories that I say goodbye Sandy.
