

GOLD, Rudy Ernest (Sunrise September 6, 1933 to Sunset November 12, 2017) passed away unexpectedly. Viewing Friday November 17, 2017 at 9-10 am at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel,1835 E. Hastings St. Vancouver, BC V5L 1T3 with the service to follow immediately after at the same location.
He will be sadly missed by his friends, family and those whose lives he touched. Survived by his Sister Verna Layton, children: Kathy Nahanee (Dave), Larry Nahanee (Danielle), Stewart Nahanee (Loretta), Zena Ariwirawan (Dony) and Wesley Nahanee. Many Grandchildren and Great grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews
In thoughts as well his first family including the children; Venus May, John Warner, Cynthia Marie, Rudolph Verne and Dell Timothy
In his early years he drove for Fownes Construction and moved on to many years with Loomis Courier. Upon retirement he joined Hazelmere RV park as a grounds keeper. Through his life he was a big part of the Squamish Nation with his participation and involvement in the North Van Canoe Club, Sea going Canoe Family as well as volunteering at the annual Powwow.
Join the family after the service for a handshake and reception in the Glenhaven reception room. We ask no flowers please as cremation will follow immediately after reception and placement of ashes at a later date.
