Michael Alexander John Loretto

Michael Loretto was born August 6, 1993 in Savannah, Georgia. On October 7, 1993 he came home to be part of the Loretto Family in Vancouver, BC. With a smile as big as his heart, he had a lasting impact on everyone he met from around the globe. Spending his childhood in Vancouver, Arizona, Tennessee, and Hawaii, and traveling around the world with his family, Mike generously touched people from all walks of life.

Michael loved the life that he lived. From his involvement in and love for almost all sports, (especially football and basketball), his affinity for spaghetti bolognese, revelling in being surrounded by his best friends, and always being the life of the party, he lived life to its fullest.

It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of Michael's passing on August 25, 2017 at age 24. He was taken from us far too soon. His lovely spirit will be greatly missed by his family, relatives, and friends. May you rest in peace Mikey.

A celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 11A.M. at Sacred Heart Church, 525 Campbell Ave, Vancouver, BC V6A 3K5. Reception to follow across the street at the Russian Hall. Those attending are asked to dress comfortably, wear a ball cap, and are invited to bring mementos that remind them of Michael.
