Julia was born and raised on Vancouver Island, where she enjoyed a short career as a singer with a big band in Victoria. That was a part of her life she cherished. She moved to Vancouver after her marriage in 1948, settled down and raised a family. She was employed as an elevator operator for Eaton’s, the Marine Building and finally for the federal government before automation took over! She was able to retire at an early age and enjoyed travelling a bit, hanging out with friends and family, and being on any beach any time! She will be missed by all who knew her.
Julia's service will have a Hawaiian theme. Please come wearing a Hawaiian shirt or bright colors.
