John Abbott

John was predeceased by his paternal parents Marjorie and Norman Abbott and his brother Michael (Mike) Abbott. John (Johnny/Poppa) is survived by his wife Valerie (Val) Abbott and his daughters Andrea Jenkins (Douglas) and Sabrina Burrows (Gavin), grandchildren Jalen, Jordan, Jakobe, Addison, and Alexander; his sister-in-law, Megan Abbott; nephews Jamie Abbott, Richie Cannon (Sue) and niece Jessica; sister-in-law, Sheila Barnewall (Jim) and nephews James, Shaun and Darcy.

John was dearly loved by many, including his Buy & Sell cronies, soccer mates (cheering squad purposes only), actors’ guilds, aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends. He will always remain close in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life for John will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm at Hamilton Harron Funeral Home, 5390 Fraser Street, Vancouver, BC.
