It is with sadness that the Jung family is announcing the passing of their beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Jack Foon Jung of Vancouver, BC. He was born in Yin Ping, Guangdong, China on the 20th of September, 1934 and moved to Canada in 1950. Jack passed away in the loving presence of his family on December 8th, 2022 in Vancouver, BC, at the age of 88.
Jack is survived by his wife of sixty-six years, Wai Sun; his children, Cherie (Felix Chiu), Jenny (Darrell Chambers), Cindy, Aileen, and Leslie (Debbie nee Soga); his grandchildren, Ellie Chambers, Jamie, Samantha and Mathieu; and his sisters, Rose and Violet, and their families.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 29th, 2022 at 9:30am at the Glenhaven Memorial Chapel (1835 E. Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC). The service will be broadcast, please click the link here, or go down the tab for funeral service, " Join Livestream".
