You always made me smile and laugh!  It was such a delight to share stories and tell jokes together.  I hold fond memories of you and you will be greatly missed!  A wonderful man.  

Uncle G, you filled our lives with joy and laughter. You were always there to support us, through the good times and the bad. We will forever treasure you.

Godspeed, our sweet Uncle G. May your soul soar high with the angels.

Thank you for being a part of our lives. We are forever grateful for your kindness, your selflessness, and your unwavering love. We love you without end.

Your family misses you so much. Family gatherings will never be the same without you.

Maria and George - a love so fierce, it transcends time.

Uncle G loved animals. He was very fond of his pet dogs, cats and birds.

A gifted pianist, Uncle G was a proud student of Ken Ross.

Along with his sharp wit was his equally impressive memory and mental capacity. Well versed, well read - there was never a dull moment with him. He never ceased to entertain and enthrall.

He had the natural ability to make people laugh. Very sharp-witted and intelligent, he had a knack for delivering deadpan/dry wit humor that often caught us off guard and sent us reeling with laughter.


One of the many things I will treasure the most about Uncle G was his wicked sense of humor.

Thank you uncle George for leaving us with nothing but great memories. Gone, but will never be forgotten. You truly will be missed. Until next time uncle George. I love you.  Pogo now has a bestfriend up there. 

Thank you uncle George for walking me down the aisle, for being a second father, for sharing your humour.  I love you!! You will forever be in our hearts.

Uncle George, I thank you for all the great, and joyful memories you’ve blessed our family with. I thank you for the love and happiness you gave to Lola. You sowed seeds of love and wisdom here on earth that will continue to bloom forever. 
You’re always loved, never forgotten and forever missed. 

Until the very end, he kept that lighthearted, unrivaled sense of joyous and infectious sense of humor.

May 13, 2006: My beloved stepdad, fondly called Uncle George or Uncle G. I will sorely miss seeing your endearing smile and the impish twinkle in your eyes.
