Survived by his wife, Sherine; children, Jason, Scott, Chad, Lisa and Samantha; grandchildren, Dominic, Vincent, Jett, Ava, Stephen and Christina; brother and five sisters plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Young at the age of 17, Frank made a gutsy move from small town Saskatchewan to the big city of Vancouver, where he began to pursue his dream of becoming a successful country music entertainer. Frank was a tireless worker with several day jobs over the years and many financial ventures; however, his heart was always with his music, making people happy. He was always there to lend a helping hand to so many of us and genuinely enjoyed so many friendships that he gave his heart to.
Frank will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He will be remembered by all of us as a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle and friend who enriched our lives.
Frank left us flying on the wings of angels to join his parents, Solveig and Neil Dan and brothers, Clare and Chris. He is now singing and playing with his buddies on a brand new stage.
A special thanks to all the doctors, nurses and staff at VGH who helped Frank with his journey. Dr. Vesna, thank you for your compassion and kindness.
A Memorial Service will be held in Frank's honour at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at St. Augustine's Parish, 2028 West 7th Avenue, Vancouver, BC (604) 736-4455 officiated by Father Robert Smith. A Celebration of Frank's life will be held at a later date.
