It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our mother, Flora Fleming Oberson, who passed away peacefully on August 27, 2023 at the age of 88.
Flora was born on January 16, 1935 in Larkhall, South Lanarkshire, Scotland to her adoring parents, William Cooper Smith and Janet Smith. Flora is predeceased by her parents and her brothers: Archibald, Alexander, and William. She is lovingly survived and remembered by her husband, Bruce Oberson; her sons, Norman Oberson, William Oberson, and Graham Oberson; and her grandchildren, Julia Oberson, Andrew Oberson, and Katherine Oberson.
A funeral service for our mother will take place on Friday, September 15th, 2023 at 11:00am at Mount Pleasant Universal Funeral Home, 306 East 11th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5T 2C6. A burial will follow the service at Mountain View Cemetery at 1:30pm.
