So sorry to hear of your passing. Know Robbie and Mary will miss you more than words can say. Yes, we had some good times and some bad times, but those were the days. Know you are happy with David, your mom and brother Ed. Now you can take your mom, David and Ed fishing with you.

Big Dave. As far back as I can remember you were the one constant family member in my life.  You were always there for our family. You lived life according to Dave and didn't look back. I am sad you're gone and you will be deeply missed by all but have no doubt you are making Grandma,  David and Ed laugh.

Hi Dave,  I just wanted to say that I so enjoyed meeting you at Ballantyne Pier in the 1960's and then again at Rick Walker's two birthday parties.  You were so much fun and I thought you and Franca made such a lovely couple.  I will miss seeing you there in future and hope you are fishing and telling jokes in Heaven. It was a lovely service Frankie with a great turnout.  Dave was a big man with a loud deep voice that may have intimidated some but when
you got to know him, his bark was bigger than his bite. He was a softie with a kind heart...RIP my fellow eastender.

Although it is sad to know you are gone, I have to smile knowing right now you are up in heaven, a group slowly growing around you, as you do what you always did best, and that is make everyone laugh, and smile.  You always had a way of seeing the lighter side of things, a way of taking a bad situation and making a little easier to bare.  "Gone Fishing"

I have fond memories of the time I worked with Dave.  He and I shared many stories in my office.  Dave was always a man who gave it his all .... whether at work or at play.  I will treasure the memories.

I have rarely met anyone more kindhearted and giving as you were, Dave. Always ready to lend an ear or give advice. It's so hard for me to accept that I will never hear from you again. You always had a joke at the ready and were so upbeat and positive in your outlook towards life. I'll really miss you old friend and will bake you shortbread cookies this Christmas to eat in heaven. All my love to your family, our happy memories of you will sustain us.

Dave, Big Dave.  Its hard to know that I will never see u again.  Family dinners wont be the same without you at the head of the table.  I willl truly miss all your stories, all your jokes, your smile and your deep voice.  U were the gentle giant.  Thanks for being u.  our world will never be the same without u.  i trust u to play jokes on us from heaven k.  we love u dave and i until we meet again and have spuds with dinner, i will "move on west" the best i can.

Big Dave we will miss you at the fraser park restaurant. Iam so glad i was able to give you those blankets to make uour coat and my old buckskin jacket for your waddrobe to use with your old rifles . You wete always an upbeat guy even though you went thru a lot .Rest in peace Big Dave one day we will meet again and have a turkey lunch .

I never had a Big Brother growing up but if I did you would have been my first choice.  I hope that you have found peace and are down by the river

It's hard to find the words to express how I feel.
There's a lot I wanted to say to you. There is a lot I was unable to articulate. 
I will never ever forget what you gave me, and how you were there for me. You made me a stronger person when I needed it.
You were a very special person to me and the loss of you is a void that hurts everyday.
I feel truly blessed to have been your niece.
I like to think you are fishing in heaven with David,
