Candido Vertudez

On July 22, 1950 he married the love of his life, Sergia. Dad will forever be known for his long-lived strength, passion, and courage. An unconditionally loving man who enjoyed a good laugh. His favourite past-times included gardening, baseball, and fishing. He was a mastermind at puzzles and enjoyed time crafting for his grandchildren.

After the passing of his beloved wife Sergia on Feb 3, 2010, Dad continued to ensure the comfort and care of his loved ones. Our Dad will be greatly missed by his family & friends, near and far. He was a true character who left so much of himself in all that he met.

Dad was predeceased by his wife, Sergia and parents, Pedro and Maximiana. He is survived by children Tina/Larry, Erly/Ver, Mina, and Mariechel/Alvin; his grandchildren, Sheryl/Jon, Charlene/Daniel, Vernice/Jojo, Bryan/Lhen, Grace/Mike, Sharon/Matt, Deo, Calvin, Cheann/Jordan, Angelica and his many great-grandchildren.

Thank you to friends of the family, to Czorny Centre, Eagle Ridge, Home Health, and his physicians, Dr Sun & Dr Archambault for their dedication to keeping our father well. Your support has meant so much to our family and we are forever grateful.

Viewing will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 9:30am - 10:30am at Vancouver Memorial Services & Crematorium, 5505 Fraser Street, Vancouver, B.C.

Prayer Service to be held at 10:30am.

Luncheon to be held at 12:30pm at Clover Downs Estates 17769 57th Avenue, Surrey, BC (Buzzer 8950)
