Born Oct 5, 1937, she spent her younger years in China, then moved to Hong Kong where she married her husband Bill. She gave birth to son William and daughter Aremis and soon shepherded the family to Canada in 1967. Hard workers both, she and Bill scrimped enough to buy their first home within a few years, started a grocery business in 1976, and were able to move into a big new home in Fraserview in 1984 before eventually retiring early. Retirement brought decades of fun and travel and, importantly, the joy of helping raise 4 grandchildren.
Annie had a good life but one cut short by illness. Ever the fighter, she battled hard and won several more good years with family and friends.
She is survived by husband Bill, son William (Susan), daughter Aremis (Saeed), sister Judy Soo Kuen (Wayne Wai Fong), brother Bill (Maria), brother Raul, sister Teresa (Bing), 4 grandchildren and 8 nieces and nephews.
