I thought people should know---Tom Pastor and his Brothers and Parents moved to California from the East Coast.  They owned a store in Van Nuys and Tom was very close to his Parents and Brothers. He loved his Mother's Italian cooking and he was a faithful member of St. Elisabeth's Catholic Church in Van Nuys.  Six months prior to the Covid pandemic, Tom was a daily Communicant as well as saying a daily Rosary.  He was a dear soul who enjoyed gardening and took pride in having a well groomed lawn.  Tom was also very civic minded and contributed to a lot of projects for the Van Nuys community.  He retired from Macy's (formerly May Co.) and held a degree from Cal State Northridge.  Tom was a Friend who was always supportive, selfless and gracious.  I will miss him terribly but will always be grateful and cherish having known him.  


We’ll miss you Tom. You’ve been a friend for a long time and fellow parishioner. May you have a good meeting with your Mom, Dad and brother. RIP … Nancy & John
