Shirley “Lynn” Wilson, 63, of Rudy, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024 at a local hospital surrounded by family. She was born June 27, 1961 in Fort Smith. She was a housewife caring for her children.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Howard Wayne Wilson; her parents, Ora Belle (Carter) Joyce and Billy Martin Black; a sister, Theresa Black; and a brother, Jerry Black.
She is survived by three daughters, Shirley Brown (Curtis) of Alma, Angel Strozier (Joey) of Huntington, and Robin Wilson of the home; a son, Ryan Wilson of the home; a sister, Marie Carson of Fort Smith; a brother, Billy Black of Concord, NC; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Graveside memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
