Melba Sills

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Sills; a son, William “Boogie” Sills; a sister, Treva Holt; three brothers, Clifford Davis, Clinton Davis, and Tim Davis; and a great-great-granddaughter, Sueannah Brown.

She is survived by four daughters, Betty Wiggins and Beverly Smith, both of Van Buren, and Susie Blevins and Jeannie Stevens, both of Kibler; a son, Dannie Sills of Van Buren; a sister, Ellen Jones of Springdale; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 14, 2024 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Durvin Cemetery in Dardanelle, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
