Karan Joy Smith, 68, of Van Buren, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023 in Fort Smith. She was born May 15, 1954 in Fort Smith to the late Paul and Modell (Sangster) Pair.
She is survived by her husband, James Earl Smith of the home; two sons, Kenneth Reynolds and wife Crystal of Van Buren, and Charles Reynolds and wife Amber of Alma; a stepdaughter, Aimee Smith of Fort Smith; a brother, Paul Murphy Pair and wife Carol of Prairie Grove; and four grandsons, Tyler Reynolds, Cory Reynolds, Kyle Reynolds, and Kaden Reynolds and one granddaughter, Kaitlyn Reynolds.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2023, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
