Joyce Sharp

Joyce Sharp, 90, of Alma, departed this life Wednesday, June 15, 2022 in Fort Smith. She was born October 26, 1931 in Mountainburg to the late Dutch and Amy (Rush) Osburn. She was a retired bookkeeper. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and collecting miniatures, and was a member of the Community Bible Class.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Sharp; and a daughter, Julia Sharp.

She is survived by two daughters, Lynette Holt and husband Ray of Alma, and Annette Tyson and husband Kemper of Greenwood; a son, Barry Sharp and wife Katie of Rudy; three sisters, Liz Peters of Fort Smith, Dama Smith of Mountainburg, and Susan Langston of Fort Smith; a brother, Doyle Osburn of Mountainburg; three grandchildren, Ralynn Wilkinson (Ryan), Juliann Marts (Steve), and Justin Holt; and four great-grandchildren, Ava, Aryn, Lydia, and Austyn.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2022 at Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Viewing will be from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
