Joyce Moon, 76, of Van Buren, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 at her home. She was born October 7, 1941 in Van Buren to the late Granville and Loo Freeda Jones. She was retired from Cintas, and was a member of Van Buren United Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Moon.
She is survived by a stepdaughter, Dawn Bambrick of Anaheim, CA; two sisters, Linda Briggs of Van Buren, and Patricia Haggard and husband Bill of Van Buren; and a brother, Granville Alan “Butch” Jones and wife Lora of Van Buren.
Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the Van Buren United Pentecostal Church with interment to follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Brown, Lalen Jones, Dan O’Bryan, Chad Davis, Brad Graham, and Demontre Briggs.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
