David Lee Orrick, 76, of Fort Smith, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024 in Fort Smith. He was born October 20, 1947 in Mulberry to the late Dewey and Imogene (Davis) Orrick. He served his country in the U.S. Navy, and worked as a claims manager for Nationwide Insurance. He was Baptist in faith, and liked the Arkansas Razorbacks, the St. Louis Cardinals, golfing, and horse racing.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Michael Orrick and Michael’s significant other, Amber Turner of Van Buren; his granddaughter, Rane Orrick of Alma and her fiancé, Zack Dumond; and his dog, Honeybun.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Alma City Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
