Burel Lamproe, 77, of Cedarville, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024 at his home. He was born December 19, 1946 in Chester to the late Raymond and Nora Fay (Lowery) Lamproe. He was the owner/operator of B&L Auto Salvage. He loved deer hunting and wore his camo overalls all of the time.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Cora Lamproe; a daughter, Tammy Jett; a son, Raymond “Dink” Lamproe; and two brothers, Joe and James Lamproe.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Lamproe of the home; two sons, William Lamproe of Cedarville, and Bo Lamproe of Van Buren; two stepdaughters, Ronda Burkett of Van Buren, and Renee Burkett of Fort Smith; two sisters, Lela Faye Stephens of Roland, and Dovie Lamproe of Uniontown; eighteen grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. Ashes will be placed at Bryant Cemetery.
