Bobby Don Selby, 88, of Van Buren, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024 at his home. He was born November 6, 1936, in Johnson County, to the late James “Cecil” and Lorene Treece Selby. Over the course of his lifetime, he had worked as a “music entertainer” across the United States. He had served in the United States Army Reserves, and he was loved by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Selby; and an aunt, Opal Galloway.
He is survived by his daughter, Staci Dawn Moore of Kansas City; his brothers, Dan Selby and wife Sheila of Van Buren, and Ben Selby and wife Tarrie of Fort Smith; his sister, Susan Kibler of Van Buren; his cousins, Jerry Galloway, Wayne Galloway, Delores Pistacchio, Donna Renfro, and David Galloway; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will visit with friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
