William "Bill" Nielsen

William Arthur Nielsen, also known as Bill, passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 71 in Upland, CA. Bill was born on September 17, 1952, at Mary Immaculate Hospital in Jamaica, New York. He will be remembered by all who knew him for his generous spirit and unique ability to bring people together. Always quick to lend a helping hand, Bill found his greatest joys in life through witnessing the joy and happiness of others.

With a long, successful career as the Vice President at Prime Converting, Bill was known for his hard work and dedication to his profession. Outside of work, Bill enjoyed fine dining, putzing around, and traveling with friends and family. He focused his spare time and hobbies on bringing people together.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Maggie Libby, his stepdaughters, Breanna Abruzzo and Lauren Abruzzo, his brothers, Bryan Nielsen and Robert (Kathy) Nielsen and sister Lori (Eric) Lavik. He loved and cherished his whole family, and they brought him immense joy and happiness.

A ceremony to celebrate Bill's life will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Anthony's Catholic Church, located at 2110 N. San Antonio Ave, Upland, CA 91784. The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in honoring Bill's memory. A reception to follow will occur Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Bucca Di Beppo, 505 W Foothill Blvd., Claremont, CA 91711.
