Rory Steve Pippen, age 70 passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, in his new Apple Valley home surrounded by family. Rory was born May 14, 1953, in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri to George Jr. and Evelyn Pippen. He grew up with his younger Sister Cathy. In 1962 the Pippen's moved to California, and in 1964 made Upland, Ca their home. Rory graduated from Upland High School in 1971. He eventually moved to San Pedro, Ca and met the love of his life, Karlla, in 1993. Rory and Karlla married in 2003. Together they raised Karlla's two children.
Rory completed a 25 year career with Fed Ex, retiring in October 2021. He lived a full life doing the things he loved most, playing tennis, riding his bike, going to the beach, and playing his vast collection of electric and acoustic guitars daily.
Rory is survived by his wife of 20 years, Karlla; his Mother Evelyn Pippen, his daughter Janel LeMaster (Brian); and his son Huck Muessel (Heather); his grandson Evan Dietz, his grandson Zackary Muessel, his grandson Levi Dietz and his grandson Damian Muessel. His brother-in-law Mark Lesch, his brother-in-law Art Midgley (Binky), his brother-in-law Russell Midgley (Nina), his sister-in-law Rogene Peregoy (Bill), his sister-in-law Loreen McAllister (Wes), his sister-in-law Glenda Monroe (Jerry) and his sister-in-law Janene Reed (Eric) and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rory is proceeded in death by his Dad George Pippen, Jr. and His Sister Cathy Lesch.
Services will be held December 16, 2023 at 1pm, Stone Funeral Home 355 East 9th Street, Upland, Ca 91786.
