In loving memory of Mark Ford a man dearly loved by his family and friends. Mark is survived by his wife Teresa Ford, daughter Marci (Ed) Garduno, grandchildren Abby and Noah, sister Cathy(Steve) Filson, brother Jack (Loretta) Ford, brother in law Perry (Linda) Harrison, nephews and nieces and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Mildred Ford. Mark was born and raised in the Bakersfield area. He worked with his dad as a young boy and learned to play guitar in the church his parents pastored. Mark met his wife Teresa and became a part of the Harrison family singing group. God gave him many songs that were a blessing to the people he ministered to. Mark was called to preach at a young age and he preached with power, anointing and passion. He worked in construction for over 45 years. He could build almost anything he set out to do. Mark spent many hours enjoying and working on his big silver eagle buses that were used to go up and down the roads spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. He also enjoyed his hobbies of old cars and guitar collecting. Mark leaves behind a rich legacy of a life lived with humility, integrity and a deep, deep love that he had for his Savior. Mark sang many times “He owns both sides of the river” while he was here on earth and now he is on the other side of the river, safe, secure, happy, rejoicing and beholding his precious Lord. We will forever love him and be thankful for who he was.
