John Rodriguez Marquez, age 92, of Upland CA, took his last breath surrounded by family at home on July 19th, 2024. He was born on September 17th, 1931 in Upland, CA and had been a resident for 92 years. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force as a Military Police Officer in Port Austin, Michigan
He is survived by his Wife, Lydia Marquez; Granddaughters, Jamie Contreras (Jose Contreras), Liliana Marquez, and Desirae Marquez and Great Grandchildren: Julianna Contreras, Jasmine Contreras, and Nikolas Martinez.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Geraldo Marquez, Mother, Juanita Rodriguez Marquez, and his son Robert A. Marquez.
A rosary for John will be held Monday, August 5, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at St Joseph's Catholic Church, 877 N Campus Ave, Upland, CA 91786. A funeral mass will occur Monday, August 5, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, 877 N Campus Ave, Upland, CA 91786. A graveside service will occur Monday, August 5, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Bellevue Memorial Park, 1240 W G St, Ontario, CA 91762.
