Anthony T. Sanders

Anthony’s formal education began at Calvary Baptist Christian School. He later attended Point Loma Nazarene College, where he studied Business Administration.

Anthony received Christ at an early age while attending First Church of Nazarene Pomona. He participated in Sunday school and a variety of church programs. Anthony enjoyed playing basketball and his favorite NBA team was the Los Angeles Lakers. He was truly loyal to the purple and gold. Anthony was a man of few words yet when he spoke, it was words of wisdom, righteousness and power. He knew who he was and lived each day true to his values.

In 2014, Anthony gained employment with Trepco Distributions as a Certified Forklift Operator. Through this tenure, he met and befriended a co-worker, Frank Sosa. Over the years, the friendship manifested into a true brotherly bond. The Sosa family welcomed “Sanders” into their lives and Anthony embraced their love and culture. His presence and smile will be forever cherished.

On Wednesday, June 7, 2023, Anthony received the comfort of heavenly rest and peace. Preceding him in life are: Jacob L. Sanders (Father), Betty F. Sanders (Mother) and Jack R. Sanders (Brother).

Anthony fought a good fight, finished the course and kept the faith. His life and love will be eternally treasured.
