Patricia Josephine O’Brien passed away on July 30, 2011 at the age of 61. She was born on August 16, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio to Cletus McGreevy and Ruth Elsass. Patricia is survived by her husband Michael J. O’Brien; brother, Tom McGreevy; daughters, Aine and Michaela; and granddaughters, Colleen and Kirsten. She met her sweetheart at the University of Dayton, and was married at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma, Texas. She was dedicated to supporting the military, lived in Europe for 7 years and travelled the world. She was a Master Naturalist and loved to dance. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2011 from 5:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. with Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 9:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Selma TX. Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 10:45 A.M. Arrangements under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home, Universal City, Texas.
