Lori Lynn Simmang

Lori Lynn Nixon Simmang, 62, of Converse, Texas, passed away on June 17, 2022. She was born in Dallas, Texas on March 12, 1960. She graduated from Lee High School in San Antonio and married Bobby Wayne Simmang on April 21, 1979, and they were happily married until his passing on June 27, 2015. Lori worked side by side with her husband, son, and brother-in-law at Simmang’s Automotive. She had a passion for family, gambling, and was always ready for an adventure. Her laughter, kindness, and love were infectious to all that met her.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kristi & Edward Novack. Her son, Kevin Simmang. Her grandchildren: Cameron & Kerstin Novack, Hailey & Wesley Parker, & Jasmine. Her great-grandchildren, River and Rhen Novack. Mother-in-law, Maxine Simmang. Brothers and sister-in-law: Randi & Debi Nixon, David Nixon & Terri, John & Betsy Simmang, Mike & Stephanie Simmang, & Cary Simmang. She is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Lori will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

A visitation is being held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Colonial Funeral Home in Universal City from 6-8pm. The funeral service is being conducted on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at 10am, with the burial to follow at Hondo Cemetery.
