Mrs. Lilia (Jessica) Siebert went to be with The Lord God on March 13th, 2022 after battling years of Lewy Body Dementia. She was born to Lorenzo and Antonia Dejos on December 12th, 1950 in San Carlos, Negros Occidental, Republic of the Philippines. She graduated from Central Negros Institute in 1969 and then attended Soriano Beauty & Fashion School. She met her husband, Michael, while he was stationed at Clark AB in the Philippines and were married on June 27th, 1975. They were transferred to Offutt AFB in Nebraska where Jessica gave birth to her daughter Diana and to her eldest son, Allen. Lilia and her family moved to Tyndall AFB in Florida, and after 5 years, moved to Hawaii and Hickam AFB where she gave birth to her youngest son Timothy. Lilia and her family finally arrived in San Antonio with her husband stationed at Randolph AFB in 1988. They have been members of the Senor Santo Nino de Cebu Catholic Church since 1992.
During all the time spent in these different cities and Air Force Bases, Lilia made many friends that became like family. Throughout her time in San Antonio, she worked for HEB in the bakery department, the Randolph Commissary bakery, Fort Sam Houston Post Exchange, and lastly Sam’s Warehouse as a product demonstrator. In all these positions (where she often was selected as Employee of the Month) she made friends with everyone she encountered because of her love of people.
Lilia is survived by her husband Michael; children Diana and husband Carlos, Allen and fiancé Barbara, and Timothy and partner Erik; grandchildren Katelyn, Julia, Victoria, and Thomas; sister Mercedes de la Fuente. She is predeceased by her father Lorenzo, mother Antonia, and brothers Lorenzo Jr., Filipe, and Hernando.
Lilia loved the Lord and her family beautifully and faithfully. She rejoiced always, prayed continually and gave thanks in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). We will miss Lilia and will continue to celebrate her and the life she lived.
Services will be held at the Colonial Funeral Home. Mass will be at Senor Santo Nino Catholic Church and interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Lilia loved bright colors, so in honor of her the family has requested everyone wear bright colors for her services.
