Larry Moody

Larry Moody passed away May 6, 2014 at the age of 76. He was born May 29, 1937 in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Mary Moody Hynes and Grandparents, James and Martha Moody. Mr. Moody is Survived by his Loving wife of 53 years, Patricia Ann Moody, Son, Larry Moody and his wife; Tanya and Daughter; Michelle Wille and her husband Ian; Grandchildren, Trent Moody and Allison Wille and also numerous extended family. Mr. Moody served in the U.S. Army. He owned 4 M Automotive in Converse for 28 years. He was a life member of the Converse VFD, SAFES EMS, Converse Noon Lions Club, NRA Member and a Member of the Country Church in Marion. Mr. Moody always put his family first, put others above himself, and was active in the community. We will cherish all the memories we have; praising God he is now healed and one day we will join him in heaven. A visitation will be held Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 A.M. at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. In Lieu of Flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or La Vernia Fire and La Vernia EMS.
