He is survived by his parents Jesse and Elizabeth Brice; uncles Leon and Gary Brice; and son John T. Brice.
John was a patriot serving in the U.S. Navy for 8 years in which he received a National Defence Service Medal and 2 Battle 'E' Ribbons. He had a passion for sports and he loved to officiate them. He would often referee baseball, basketball, and football games in his free time.
John was a good man with a big heart. He will forever be missed.
A visitation for John will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, Texas 78148. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 11:30 AM at Colonial Funeral Home. An interment will occur Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 1:30 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
