James Dixon went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 20, 2015. He is preceded in death by son James Anthony Dixon. James is survived by his wife of sixty one year’s Jannie; son Freeman Dwayne Dixon (wife Karen); grandchildren Dylan and Brynne of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; daughter-in-law Emma; and granddaughter Nadine Dixon of San Antonio, Texas. James was ordained a Deacon in 1956. He was always glad to serve in God’s work wherever he was needed. James loved the Lord, his family and friends. He worked for McKesson Drug for forty one year’s serving in many positions retiring as the distribution center manager. He will be missed. Visitation will be Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home. Graveside services and Interment will be Monday, January 26, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
