Grandma, I miss you so much, there is now a giant gap in my heart. You left us with so much more than just memories of cookies, baking bread, blankets and pillows. You left us all with amazing character. You taught us that family was family, period, no such things as in laws step or half, and you loved all of us fiercely the same no matter how messed up we got. You taught me to always greet strangers with kindness and love , youd always go out of your way to make every stray person that came in included and loved, even sometimes staying up late at night the last minute to make them a gift too. To always put others first even at our own expense. and that every life matters down from the mouse, or wasp, to the bats, or possums, they all have a place and we do too.  You  taught that its ok to make mistakes as long as we learn from them and get back up. and most of all you taught me to listen without judgement. I am a better person because of you. The world is better because of you. If I could become 1/1000th the person you were I would be a great woman. I miss you I love you and I know everytime a bird visits you are sending them down to look over me.

Mom made the best sugar cookies and molasses cookies this side of heaven, now she can make the best sugar cookies and molasses cookies that side of heaven too.
I will miss my mother. She taught me many things of how to be a good mom. 
When mom was upset she used to say "I may love you but I sure don't like you right now". When I was a child I didn't get that, now that I am an adult I completely understand that concept.  
Thanks Mom for all you taught me. I love you very much and most the time I even liked you. ;-)

Grandma, 

You were a light in this dark world. I will forever remember the cookies,  pringles,  sun tea, bread,  and most of all the love you gave to every person who crossed paths with you. I'm glad my children got to meet you and will relish telling stories of grandpa's apple trees, and the holidays spent watching star wars in the living room with uncle Michael while you cooked holiday dinner. I'll remember setting on news papers that were being prepared for you to go deliver them.  I'll remember playing with ninja turtle toys in the front yard. I'll remember christmas when everyone would gather around the tree and grandpa would pass the presents out. I'll remember all the reasons you made this life a long love filled one.

Grandma,
I will miss the good times we had whenever we would come visit you. When I started dating and later married Tina, I wasn't sure how I would be received by the family. The very first time I came with Tina to the family Christmas gathering you welcomed me as one of the family and showed the same love as you did everyone.  I will miss all the good times we had as we all sat around the table talking, playing cards, and enjoying the family gatherings. You will be greatly missed.

Great grandma, 
I always loved getting to spend the night with you before I moved or the time I came down to go to a concert and stayed with you, you stayed up till I got back and the next morning I got up and played skipo with you i always loved getting to spend time with you playing card games or talking on the phone with you after I had a bad day or when I didn't feel good getting to talking to you it made it a little bit better. I'm going to miss talking to you over the phone or visiting you I love you so much I miss you

Grandma was my best friend ,my confidant, she raised me like a daughter, my aunts and uncles more like sisters and brothers.  Grandma loved the family get togethers ,  I remember playing rummy with grandma she would have rummy and would yell out whatcha-macallit or thing-a-mabob...we would laugh.  I'm going to miss walking in and smelling  bread baking or cookies...when we were kids I remember getting off the bus and you could smell the bread and we all knew she was frying up dog turds (fried bread).  But most of all grandma I miss your smile.

the best one I remember is when she made bread she would call us and wed come over and she would have milk and cocoa ready for us to dunk the bread
but the best thing you gave was him

My mama, so many memories. Mom was a great baker.  She would bake like 16 loafs of bread at one time with her bread maker. Loved her sugar cookies in all shapes and sizes.  
She loved animals, butterflies, feeding birds and flowers.
If she loved you, she fed you. I remember when I would be upset she would buy or bake some treat. She loved passing out Halloween candy.
Her last words when we were leaving were always call me when you get home. Yeah my mom always wanted to make sure we got home ok.
Mama now you're at your final home- heaven. See you when I get there. Love you.

Cindy Lou Haynes Maxfield

Mrs. Haynes was a wonderful lady and neighbor.  I remember the kindness she showed me as a child. She shared moon cookies with me.  She loved her children and grandkids. I remember her energy and how happy she was. I remember spending the night at Teanna's and her checking on us in the middle of night to make sure we were okay because we were talking so loud. Great memories of Mrs. Haynes.  

I am proud to be a part of your family  Grandma through my daughter, Samantha,
God always has a plan for us, some we understand and some we don't. But always believe  his Love for us is forever. 
May a special blessing be for the family of Grandma!
