It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Howard Bohling, Jr. (Charlie). He was born December 19, 1958 in Savannah, GA, and was called to our Savior Jesus Christ on March 24, 2018. Charlie has gone home to join his wife Floretta Luan Bohling, his sister Mary Thornton, and his parents Charles Howard Bohling, Sr. and Franziska Bohling. He is survived by his loving daughter Megan Webber and spouse Roger, sons Jason Bohling and spouse Sara, Charles Eric Bohling and spouse Michelle, his nephew Marc Thornton and spouse Whitney, his granddaughters Liliana and Annabelle, grandson Nicholas, his grandnieces Braelyn and Alexandria, and other grandchildren. He also leaves behind his beloved dog Bonnie who had never left his side. Also left to cherish his memory are the friends of the family and his neighbors. Charlie served in the U.S. Air Force, worked for the family circus, helped people as a firefighter, and was a truck driver for many years. He was proud of his German heritage and supported all other veterans who served proudly in the Armed Forces.
Graveside services and interment will be held at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery on April 10, 2018 at 9:15am, pavilion 2.
