Billy Mitchell Fletcher

Billy Mitchell Fletcher was born on the 10th July, 1927 and left this earth June 26, 2024. He left the love of his life, his wife Rosalba, son Alex of Tokyo, Japan, daughter Alicea (Mauricio) of Dallas, Texas, daughter Jane (Mark) of Canon City, Colorado and granddaughter Julia of Austin, Texas and an extended family of nieces and nephews who loved Uncle Billy. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy where he served in Guam in WWII and the US Army for 26 years, sending him all over the world. He settled in San Antonio, Texas after retiring from the Army where he ran the facilities for Bexar County Hospital District.

Visitation will be the evening of July 9th from 5pm to 8pm at Colonial Funeral Home in Universal City, Texas. The Committal Service with Military Honors will be at 11:15am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery: Shelter 3. A gathering of remembrance afterwards welcoming family and friends will be held at the VFW Post 8541 on 2222 Austin Highway.
