Sam David

Better known as David, he is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Terry David, a retired senior occupational RN, and his two sons, Michael, an engineering manager and Ryan, a federal law enforcement officer.

David was born in a small town called Kodumudi in Tamil Nadu, India on August 14th, 1939. He received a Master's degree in Religious Studies from Kerala University and used his education to move across the Atlantic, immigrating to New Jersey in 1977. He received a Master of Social Work at Yeshiva University and eventually became a U.S. citizen. Known for his charitable nature, David often contributed to organizations that helped less fortunate Americans. David served his community as a social worker at Raritan Bay Medical Center for 26 years.

He was a loving husband, an inspirational father, a jovial friend, and an advocate for the disadvantaged. Although he is no longer with us, he continues to live on in the hearts and minds of those he touched.
