Sal was a WWII veteran of the United States Army and National Guard. He was a volunteer for the Union Boys Club for many years and a member of the Union Knights of Columbus.
Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Doris Guarino. Loving father of Patricia Grace and her husband Bill, Linda Decker, Susan Tant, and James Guarino and his wife Ann Marie. Adoring grandfather of Scott Piccione and his wife Darlene, Patrick Piccione and his wife Danielle, Jennifer Higa and her husband Fabio, Cassandra Decker, and Zoey Guarino; and great-grandfather of Raquel, Jesse, Michelle, and Ryan.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 28th from 4-9 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union NJ 07083. Entombment will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Sal’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
