Bob received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology Education at Seton Hall University before discovering his true passion for therapy and analytic work. He went on to complete a Master’s degree in School Psychology at Seton Hall. While working in the public schools as a school psychologist, he earned his PhD in Psychology at Fordham University, followed by his licensure to practice privately in New Jersey.
Bob profoundly enjoyed his work as an analyst and threw himself wholeheartedly into the training of new psychoanalysts. He served as an adjunct professor at Seton Hall, Kean University, Monmouth University, and UMDNJ. He was a clinical supervisor at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAAP) and Pace University and completed postgraduate work at IPPNJ, later the Center for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis of New Jersey (CPPNJ).
At CPPNJ, he served as Treasurer and Dean of Faculty, and he was a member of the Training Committee and Board of Directors.
Through this all, he also cultivated his private practice in Springfield and Westfield, New Jersey.
Outside of the office, Bob found true joy in the time he spent sailing on Barnegat Bay. He proudly served as Commodore of both Lavallette Yacht Club and the Barnegat Bay Yacht Racing Association.
