Mary Helen Leo

Beloved wife of the late Amado Leo and daughter of the late Celeste and Joseph Ambroselli, who immigrated to America from southern Italy. She was a wonderful and loving Mother to Robert Leo and his wife Dorothy, Judge Paul Leo and his wife Debby, and Maria Leo; Grandmother to Robert Leo Jr. and his wife Eileen, Paul Leo and his wife Cathy, Kathleen Leo, and Christopher Leo and his wife Kirsten; Adoring Great-Grandmother of Olivia, Alexa, Makenzie, Samuel and Addison Leo.

Mary was educated at Central High School in Newark NJ, where she won the award for "girl with the best personality!" She truly enjoyed her career at Bilkay's Trucking Company in her 20s, but thereafter she devoted her life to husband and family. Mary was never without a kind word or smile for everyone.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 17th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union NJ 07083. A funeral mass will be offered on Friday, December 18th at Holy Spirit church, Union at 10:30 AM, with interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
