Friends and family may call on Thursday, May 31, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union, N.J. Funeral Mass will be offered at Holy Spirit Church, Union, on Friday, June 1, at 10:30 a.m., with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Orange.
Born and raised in Newark, Joseph later moved to Irivington and settled in Lakewood in 1996. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and worked for the Dairymens League for 33 years.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Fannie Macaluso. He is also survived by his daughter Mary-Jo Ingram and her husband John, his son Salvatore Macaluso and his wife Deborah, and his daughter Rosanne Sargent and her husband Dennis. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Robert, Heather, Joseph, John, Jesse, and Juliana and great-grandchildren Robert , Stella, Nicholas, and Lucy.
