John Raymond Gardner

John Raymond Gardner age 81, of Edison and Lavallette, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 27, 2014. A Funeral Service will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church 639 Mountain Avenue Springfield, NJ, on Friday May 30, 2014 at 11 AM. Entombment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park Union, NJ. The family will receive their friends at McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Avenue Union, NJ, on Thursday May 29, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. John was the former school administrator for the Piscataway School System for 36 years before his retirement in 1994. He was a graduate of Panzer College and received his masters from Kean University, Union, NJ. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Margaret Heun Gardner, his devoted children Jill and her husband Joseph Cianciotta and John and his wife Stormie Gardner, his loving grandchildren Tayler, Nicole, Kelly and her husband Alec, Lindsey, John and Joseph and his dear brother Edward Gardner. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Faith Lutheran Church 1801 Grand Central Avenue Lavallette, NJ 08735. .
