Frank was a great man I remember him as a little kid coming to the gas station to talk to my father he had given me some advice on business and life thing some years back I don't know why I thought of him today but I found out he passed 6 years ago my condolences to the family I still have his business card my name is Larry if anybody wishes to contact me 732-687-6701

The sudden passing of my father was very difficult for my family and me. I would like to thank all of you for your kind words, prayers, sympathy and support. My father was a great person, a true gentleman, dedicated father and grandfather, a loving husband, a wonderful teacher, and my good friend.

I first met Frank and Terry when my son, Kerry married their daughter, Valerie. I couldn't have hoped for 2 better people to become part of our family.  I always made it a point to visit Broomfield and see them when they came to visit.  I did so enjoy visiting with Frank, as a matter of fact I visited with him a bit on the phone on Easter Sun. evening.  Little did I know what the next day would bring. He will be sorely missed by those of us who knew him. My family has a fond memory of working with Clayton and Mr. Novak on the Pinewood Derby cars.  A few days before the Pinewood Derby, we had the Pinewood Derby track set up in our home and had invited any boys in the cub scout pack to come to our house to fine tune their derby cars. Mr. Novak brought his grandson over, and Clay and Mr. Novak, both worked diligently and enthusiastically on perfecting their car.  That evening, Mr. Novak shared his expertise about working with cars with Clayton and the other boys. He taught the boys how to reduce friction in the cars by adding graphite to the axles.  Mr. Novak and Clayton made numerous test runs to optimize and fine tune the axles on the car to improve its performance.  Mr. Novak took pride in his work and explained things to Clayton and the others.  He was a pleasure to be with and was always a true gentleman.  He was one of the reasons why my family enjoyed working on the Pinewood Derby.           Mostly, though, we remember watching Mr. Novak (and Mrs. Novak and Vicki and Todd) standing proudly on the sidelines on the evening of the Pinewood Derby as Clayton received his trophy for being one of the top contenders.

Sorry so to hear about the loss of Frank.  We had many nice conversations with him at car shows, he will be missed.

My deepest sympathies to Terry and the entire family. I have known Frank and his family for many years. I started working for him when gas was nine cents a gallon. Over the years i have only seen him as a class act. A caring and giving person to all. He always had something good to say about people. Frank cast a big shadow. He is a hard act to follow. We will miss him deeply. We have great memories of him.

Frank loved his family so dearly; they were the center of his universe. Everyone knows Frank was a gentleman and a class act.  In all my short 9 years of knowing Frank, in all the great conversations we had between each other, he never talked bad or down on anyone.  Frank is a special person that we all loved and will miss.  My daughter Lindsay Jo told me that Frank was "cool".  I will say again that Frank was cool before cool was cool.

My deepest sympathies to Terry and the entire family.  I've known Frank for many, many years through the Jaguar Touring Club.  He was a true gentleman and a wonderful person, not to mention a dedicated car enthusiast.  We shared many fun and interesting times with Frank and Terry, and I'm extremely saddened to hear of his passing.  We in the Jaguar community will sorely miss you, Frank.  Rest in peace.

The world lost a true gem with Mr. Novak's passing. What a kind, wonderful man he was; always ready and willing to help anyone.  I'll never forget when I (dumb kid) had to break a little door window pane to get into my grandmother's beach house (lost key of course). When Mr. Novak heard this, it was big man to the rescue.  He had spare glass; a glass cutter (who has this just hanging around?) and the old Novak know how.  He measured the broken window, cut the glass and fixed the door! Unbelievable, I still can't get over this (my grandmother never knew!) - that was Frank Novak!!  He was also a selfless, giving, caring husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, grandfather and friend. A presence that will be truly missed by many people; anyone who knew him.  Our prayers go out to all family and friends who loved him.
We will all miss you tremendously Frank Novak.

We were so sorry to hear of Frank's passing.  We last saw Frank and Terry at a wedding in upstate NY in Oct. 2010 when we shared a table and had a wonderful time. He will be missed by all.

My dearest and closest friend Frank will be greatly missed. We did everything together. It started with our cars, but blossomed into a once in a lifetime friendship. We were together so much, people thought we were father and son, but I told them many times that Frank is my brother. Even though we were a generation apart, I loved him like a brother. Terry (my Princess), Valerie, Vickie, and Dave, my heart goes out to you and you and your families. A part of me died with Frank.
